Cimino excellently uses the three act structure to show the extent of the damage caused by the Vietnam War, showing it's ruinous effect on those at the time. The three act structure of the wedding, war and then return show how chaotic the war was, with the acts eventually blending into each other at the end showing the confusion caused by this war and how the various personalities of the war have created a devastating culture. The motif of the "one shot" persists throughout the film, with the motifs presence being especially relevant in the second act of the film in Vietnam as not just the game of Russian Roulette that completely strips the plaeyrs of identity, leaving only the winner and the loser, but exists also in soldiers on both sides chances of survival. Cimino likens this war to the looming chance of that one in six bullet, placing a very real fear directly into the hands of those seeking an opportunity from the war, or an escape from the grim reality that surrounds them, and strips soldiers on both sides of identity, instead making everyone either the winner or the loser, devoid of hope, everything up to chance.

Important announcement!
(2/12/24) For a while now I have had this website and have used it mainly to practice html, js, css, etc and to have a nice little place where I can put stuff and things and look back at it every once in a while. HOWEVER!! It has come to my attention that I can do even more with my time. So, I will be attempting to make at LEAST 4 (four) things projects stuff and suchs before the end of the year. I have added a new countdown (WOW!) to the top of the website to taunt me. to motivate me. to push me forward to make whatever decrepit project comes to mind. I will document the process here. wow! im so excited. are you? anyway I love you all, please enjoy whatever I decide to make. Love love love!!
(2/12/24) text emoji generator
Starting the project challenge whatever off strong! Immediately got to work and made the random text symbol emoji generator. It isnt much, but I have been meaning to make this for a while. Now I can just gamble regenerate the emoji with this button until I get one I like for the new banners on the website. I will only be using this for the emojis in the banners from now on. Give it a go! Originally coded in python, translated to javascript (ew) for usage here!!

I guess writing it here really does have an effect. Woke up and immediately began working on this project. I really enjoyed making this one actually. You control the "sand" of the etcher sketcher using a controller joystick and you can screenshot your masterpiece, remove sand and change colour with the buttons on a controller. The further you move your joystick to one side the faster the sand moves!!! wow!
This marks 2 (two) out of four minimum projects. Yippee!!

So as you probably can tell i forgor..... to complete the last two projects......... noo....... BUT FEAR NOT i got really busy and stuff you have to believe me like so busy like so so so busy but i am back and im so excited because so many people have been saying that 2025 (this year (if its not 2025 for you then thats kinda rough idk what to tell you)) is MY year. NO ONE ELSE!!!!!!! sclux7 W fantastic incredible amazing year of the sclux. Why does this website exist?
A lot of you in fact no one ever has asked me why I made this website
I made this website earlier this year for a number of reasons. I've been adding things here and there for a couple months but I think it's important to write here why I do any of this
The most important reason is that the internet is becoming a more and more limiting place. It feels now that everyone is being forced into smaller and smaller boxes, the only form of self expression can be through someone else's interface, some big company's design rather than your own. It doesn't have to be this way, and that starts with you!
Don't let a big company tell you how to express yourself online. Make a place for yourself on the internet and make it exactly how you want it.
The website neocities is a great place to start! It's free, provides an easy way to view other people's websites, and is a great way to learn how to make a website.
Of course, learning how to code in html, css, javascript, etc might seem like an arduous task at first, but fear not! There are an endless amount of guides online that will help you through making your own website, and the reward of seeing the place you built at the end of it makes it all worth it.
To help you, my dear reader, get started, I will impart on to you three tips that helped me make this place the way I wanted it
Inspect element is your best friend ever for real
See something somewhere that you want to make? Steal it! Learn how it works! Open inspect element (ctrl shift c) and hover over whatever it is and see how it works!
